The Consultation
Visit 1
During this session Hunny will discuss with you the history of your hair care, your styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks is right for you. Hunny will also place a cluster of approximately 8-12 "SAMPLE LOCKS" in your hair to see if they will hold, determine the best size for you, verify the amount of scalp showing, settling-in time, etc. This consultation is essential for both you and Hunny to ensure you get your Sisterlocks established in the most suitable way. |
The Establishment
Visit 2 This session is the actual establishment of your locks. This process can take from 10-20 hours or even longer in some cases depending upon your hair type and length. The average Sisterlocks customer will leave this session with an average of 400 locks. Hunny will provide you with a starter kit that includes the proper shampoo for starting your locks, tiny rubber bands and tip sheets on grooming and shampooing as your locks settle in. |
Re-tightening
Visit 3 This visit should be scheduled after at least two shampooing’s, which is usually within one month from the date of your Locking Session. Hunny will monitor the integrity of your locks, tighten them up and give you an idea of how long the settling-in process is likely to take. |
Cancellation Policy
For all services, clients must cancel 24 hours in advance to reschedule their appointment. A less than 24 hour, Same Day Cancellation, or No-Show will result in a fee imposed of 50% of that days appointment cost. This fee is due immediately. If not paid, future appointments will be denied and future appointments already scheduled will be cancelled.
Late Fee
For every 15 minutes late, you will be charged $17.50.
